Anyone over the age of 16 can compete in the Kernow Killer & Kernow Destroyer, however if you are under 18 you must have parental consent to be able to participate.
What should I wear?
You will be running through lots across lots of different terrains (water, mud, through undergrowth) so please don’t wear your best Saturday night get up. A pair of decent trainers and some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or ripped.You can also take part in fancy dress if you wish! Make sure you bring warm clothing for after the race so that you don’t get cold.

How fit do I have to be?
You need to be able to run at least 10 miles (Kernow Killer) or 6 miles (Kernow Destroyer) and climb over and under lots of different obstacles. If you haven’t started training yet, we suggest you do!!
Will there be first aid?
There will be first aid professionals on site able to deal with any accidents.
Where can I park the car?
There is a large area for parking.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, there will be no animals allowed on the site.
Can my friends and family come and watch?
Friends and family are more than welcome to come and cheer you on, however they will not be allowed onto the course. They will be able to wait in the car park, where you will start and finish. There will also be food available here and a licensed bar.
Is there anywhere to store valuables?
There will not be anywhere to put valuables, however we can look after your car keys.
What is there to do after the event?
There will be a fully licensed bar and food available on the site so make sure you bring some money with you.
Also an after party to help your rehydration and recovery on Saturday night.
Will I be placed or get a time on finishing the Kernow Killer?
You will be given a finishing time and placing after completing the event.
Do you have to complete every obstacle?
We would like everyone to complete every obstacle, however if you don’t want to or haven’t got the energy you can go around any obstacle.
Is there a time limit?
There is no time limit on completion, however marshals will have the ability to remove any participants from the course (for the health and safety of the individual and/or others on the course).
